I was on the boat this morning to continue work on electrical wiring. It was all going well when I looked toward the northwest. In this part of the world, when the sky takes on this hue, it is time to seek shelter.
It RAINED...and rained and still, it is raining with thunder and lightning. Spectacular to watch, but difficult to work in these conditions.
So. I am at home preparing vegetables to put into a beautiful beef stew for dinner tonight.

Is this the photo just before the storm?
Do these clouds bring the storm?
I feel the gap of the clouds like a shelter.
This photo was taken just 5 minutes before the storm hit Darwin.
These monsoonal storms dump an enormous volume of rain in a very short time. Umbrellas are useless, and generally these storms are accompanied by thunder and lightning.
Monsoonal storms often come in a series with one storm following another.
