The Kitchen

The correct nautical term for the kitchen on a boat is 'galley'. Here you see plenty of storage, a double sink with hot and cold running water (the hot water heater is in the engine room) and a gas cooker.

The boat carries enough propane gas for approximately three months cooking. The cooker features an oven, griller and two burners on top. The cooker is 'gimballed', which means it remains level even when the boat leans over.

The galley is a quite large for a 55' yacht. There is enough room and cooking space to easily prepare meals for four or six people.
