Still WET

I stopped at Fannie Bay, on the way home from coffee with friends this morning, to take this photograph. It is taken from the cliffs near the Darwin Sailing Club, looking back aloing the coastline to Darwin City.

It has been raining all night and although it appeared that today would be dry, it has not been. The clouds are filled with lightning and thunder and the rain has been coming down heavily. But, I love it. It is warm, everything is green and life is good.

I have been shopping for my trip to Japan. I see my girls on Wednesday night! I have presents, sweets, tea, nuts....(Wow, macadamia nuts are out of season and $9 per bag...but they are nice).

I have sorted out the clothes to wear and will not take a long coat because Melody says it will not be so cold....But daytime temperatures are still 4c..... So I am taking a sailing jacket just in case I need an extra, dry jacket.

I can't wait.....Sakura...here I come....And Yaki Niku...and Moss burger...and the noodle house in Kyoto, and japanese didge players.....and seeing new friends and not working, and walking, and loving, and driving, and going to Yodobashi, and MaxValue, and playing air hockey and bowling and having a good time doing not much.....
Yay....
