The area between the house and the pool has been looking a bit untidy for a while now. On Sunday, I used my high pressure water blaster to clean the concrete, but, it was well past cleaning and clearly needed some major work. So, on Monday, I began the task of removing the old paint. It was a big job as the painted area is almost 70 square metres.
It took me a day and a half to prepare the surface. Yesterday afternoon, I painted the whole area. This morning, I painted on another coat and now it is looking the way I like it once again.
Although the paint feels dry, it must cure for two days before I can put the garden furniture back. In the meanwhile, I have decided that I will give my garage floors the same treatment. So, as soon as I have had some lunch, I will start the next floor preparation and hopefully can paint the first coat tomorrow morning. The garage area is about 60 metres and should be complete by the weekend.
However I think I will have to leave the cars out in the sun for a few days while the paint cures.
Then, next week, I might find time to go to the boat.
