It's W.E.T !!

This is the roadway which leads past the road entrance to Darwin Airport. (Double click the image to see it full sized). It has been raining for several days and in the past two days we have had over 300mm of rain. There is major flooding in all Darwin's outlying areas and Darwin is cut off by road from the rest of Australia.....and the water is still rising.

A cyclone is expected to form over water to the west of Darwin, so this week will continue to be wet and wild. Although it is wet, it is still hot and I think the weather is great!
