Cockpit table.

This is the revitalised cockpit table. It was originally an old fashioned tray, complete with a handle on each end, of the sort which would have been used to serve snacks and tea in well-to-do homes.

I bought it from a second hand goods/antique shop, removed the handles and replaced them with timber rails, stripped the timber and coated it with varnish, made a bracket and hinges and fitted it to the steering pedestal.

It is ideal for placing snacks and drinks on, whilst sitting in the cockpit. When not in use, the table folds flat against the pedestal.
